This is what occupational therapists call heavy work—pushing, landing hard, and crashing to figure out where their body is in space and how to calibrate their force. This is how kids settle themselves, and it happens no matter what. If you don’t have a dedicated crash zone, like a foam pit, it typically becomes your sofa.
We built the Everyday Foam Pit for kids who need to move hard before they can settle—engineered to withstand your active kid, whether they have specific OT goals or just a mountain of after-school energy.

It doesn’t need a playroom
Playrooms, sure. But also basements. Attics. The corner of a kid’s bedroom. The end of a hallway. Or the formal dining room nobody has eaten in since 2019.
All you need is a 5' × 5' corner. If you have more space, we suggest putting two side-by-side for ultimate play.
Other foam pits are expensive… or garbage
For eight years, we got the same message: “We love what you make. We just can’t afford it.”
The problem wasn’t your budget—it was our lineup. Kids who need sensory play the most aren’t playing in $100K+ playrooms.
So we bought the cheap online foam pits to test them. Turns out parents were stuck choosing between flimsy baby toys and high-end custom setups:

How we got the price down
Same 6-inch thick walls as custom setups, dramatically different price tag.
Without giving up the parts that matter: we held the factory to our colorway and design standards, reworked the zipper tracks and velcro, and put extra padding where kids actually land.
By partnering directly with our overseas manufacturing partners at volume, we stripped out made-to-order overhead while maintaining commercial-grade durability.
How the Kickstarter works
If we don’t meet our funding goal, you won’t be charged. If we do, foam pits ship spring 2027.

How much will it cost?+

Why Kickstarter instead of selling it right now?+
A factory won’t produce 500 high-density foam pits on a guess. Kickstarter lets us gather demand first so we can order at scale. That’s how the price works, and it means nobody pays for a product that doesn’t get made.
Will my kids outgrow it?+
The range is 3 to 12+. What changes is what they do with it: little kids jump and crash, older kids build forts, run obstacle courses, flip off the edge, and eventually just sit in it with their friends.
Do I actually have room for a 5' × 5' foam pit?+
It needs a five-foot square of floor. Playroom corner, basement, attic, the end of a bedroom, or the formal dining room nobody’s used in years.
